What do we mean "Seals"?
Seals are the product used where the walls join with each
other and/or the floor.
These seals are more commonly filled with silicone, caulking
or grout.
Highly flexible Silicone Sealant is the
only product we use as it is 100% approved by the Australian Standards
& the South Australian Building Code.
Although we used "Epoxy" in its
place in the past we have found it unsuitable as it is not flexible and
other repairers use a loophole in the Standards.
Living and being a part of S.A. for over 50
years means our Director (Richard Green) understands our special needs
unlike those franchises etc from interstate.
Like the adverse weather and movement in
our soils being observed across Adelaide has resulted in epoxy NOT being a
suitable sealant.
Seals need to be in good condition i.e. not mouldy, loose or
missing.
If they are not, this is where most problems will originate.
